The June 2024 incident involved NASA’s long-used extravehicular mobility units (EMUs). During a routine maintenance operation, a leak in Dyson’s suit led to the formation of ice particles. NASA responded swiftly, suspending spacewalks to thoroughly assess and resolve the issue.
